This phosphosiderite cabochon is all about spring, romance and blooms. It is a soft pink, with a touch of mauve and delicate yellow veins. I set it on a sterling silver back and soldered flat flowers above it. I then riveted slightly domed flowers to create a three dimensional look. The rivets are bronze; the flowers are fine silver. The back is darkened to help both the stone and flowers stand out. The bail is riveted; I added a flower on the bail rivet. Another flower is cut out behind the stone.
Lapidary artist is Debbie Stone.
