In honor of Year of the Snake, and also in celebration of the many Garter Snakes that help take care of pests on our property, I created this pendant. Made of sterling silver, it features a pretty moss agate with subtle blues and a white banded section surrounding a druzy pocket. The druzy pocket looked like the perfect place for a snake to wriggle through to its den. The snake is bronze. I gave it a slight texture, leaving an untextured stripe along its side to give it the Garter Snake look. Copper leaves on one side and copper grass on the other side frame the image. The bail is hand cut and riveted with a bronze rivet.
SIZE: This pendant measures about 1 3/4 inches long and just over 1 3/8 inches wide. It is sold without a chain. I offer a variety of chains and cords which can be purchased separately. It is pictured here with a sterling wheat chain.
