The forest green of Zoisite and deep pink of Ruby make me think of summer, of glorious rhododendrons or roses surrounded by green leaves. The stone in this ring has all of that going for it. I set it in sterling silver with a fine silver bezel. The surrounding silver is hammered to mimic the mottled patterns in the stone. I added little fine silver balls at different spots on each side of the stone. The band is double domed and split as it approaches the top.
SIZE: This ring is US size 6 3/4. The inside diameter is 17.1mm. The Ruby in Zoisite cabochon measures about 20x15mm.

PROPERTIES OF STONES (information compiled from various sources): Also called Anyolite, this stone is a combination of Zoisite, Ruby and black Tschermakite. It was first found in 1956 in Tanzania. Ruby in Zoisite is said to help alleviate negative energies, and replace them with positive energies such as happiness, vitality and growth.
