This dainty size 6 1/2 ring glitters with the promise of summer. Made of sterling silver, the setting is a round disk that I hammered to look almost like sun rays around the faceted yellow-green peridot set in the middle. I also hammered the band to match the setting.
Peridot was known by the ancient Egyptians as a stone that would drive away night horrors and spirits; at the very least, the soft summery color will brighten your days. Peridot is one of August's birthstones.
SIZE: This ring is a size 6 1/2. The disc around the stone measures just under 1/2 inches in diameter; the peridot is 5mm.
