The soft glowing green of these prehnite teardrop cabochons put me in mind of spring, flowers and new leaves. I designed the silver part to give the idea of flower petals, with a green leaf hanging below. I cut out parts of the "flower" to add light - both in weight and in look. I then curved it slightly for a more three dimensional look. The ear wires are sterling silver.
These earrings have plenty of movement and substance, but are light weight and comfortable to wear. And they'll make you feel like spring is hanging from your ears!
SIZE: These earrings hang just over 2 inches and are about 1 inch wide. The little prehnite cabochons measure about 10x8mm.

PROPERTIES OF STONES (information compiled from various sources): Prehnite is often called a "stone of dreaming" and, by indigenous people of South Africa, a "stone of prophesy". It is supposed to strengthen lucid dreaming as well as precognition.
