The oval labradorite in this ring has a wonderful golden sheen that shimmers and shifts as it is moved. I framed the stone with a twisted patterned wire which I antiqued and then polished to show off the pattern. The band is fairly thick at about 1.8mm in the middle. I used a large faced hammer to give the band a gentle hammered texture. The edges have been rounded and smoothed for a comfortable fit.
SIZE: This ring is US size 8 1/2. The labradorite cabochon measures about 19x14x5-6mm. With the frame, the entire top measures 25.5x20.5mm. The band is just under 6mm wide and 1.8mm thick at the highest part of the dome.
