These fun earrings feature embossed copper pine (or fir) cones. The pattern was created by rolling the copper and an embossing die through my rolling mill. I then sawed out the cones, antiqued and polished them to bring out the texture. The edges have all been smoothed and rounded for comfort. I added a fun lime green Czech glass bead above each fir cone. The beads are gently faceted and have red spackles at the top and bottom. A little copper bead cap tops each one, giving them almost the look of little acorns. Tiny green and red seed beads on top and bottom finish them off. The ear wires are Niobium, which is considered one of the least allergenic metals.
SIZE: These earrings hang about 2 1/2 inches. The pine cones are about 7/8 inches wide. Each earring weighs about 4 grams.
