This beautiful bold Calico Lace Agate needed a simple setting. Instead of adding elements around the stone, I created a band with a mossy tendril and a few small silver balls that mimic the patterns on the stone. The stone has an area that is a soft translucent lavender. You can see orbs under the surface which gives this stone a wonderful three dimensional look. Surrounding the translucent area is a pattern of white with tan-orange speckles. It's really a beauty that you won't stop looking at when it's on your finger! The setting and band are sterling silver; the bezel around the stone and the decoration on the band are fine silver (.999 silver).

Agates in general are said to strengthen the body and mind as well as promote courage, and are supposed to facilitate the ability to discern truth. Calico Lace Agate specifically is said to be a grounding stone that provides positive and balanced energy.
